How do insert a new bin into an FTA receiver.(Coolsat 5000)?

I have the receiver connected to the PC via a usb to rs232 adapter. And the device does show up on the PC. Or maybe i'm looking in the wrong place. HELP!
i meant to say it does NOT show up on my PC.
