I am thinking of purchasing a dreambox on ebay. Its called the DM-500C. Do I need a satellite dish to make this box work? Or is cable connection good with it? How many channels will I be getting on average? Is there a card that I need to purchase? Will I get charged by anyone for accessing these channels? Is it easy to connect? Or do I have to be a techy to make it work?

As you can see, I don't know much about the dreambox! I am in need of serious help.
