Well i have come to realize that the lagging remote response on my SV1000,SV4000 is due to the eye in the remote is pointed slightly upward i have tryed the modds posted with nothing much changing so i just started pointing the remote slightly downward from the reciever and when
i do this it respones very well so if your remote is not very responsive then try this point the remote @ 2 feet below your reciever and see how it respones to the remote then start backing
up and useing the remote you will be suprized at how far you can get and the remote still work
